WHY ARTISTS SHOULD BE USING OGG VORBIS. "The major record companies would like to control the way people listen to music, and they are going to use both software and the hardware that people buy in the future. 'Content', known as music and movies to most of us, is a global industry, worth billions every year..." With the continuing maturation of the Ogg Vorbis project, specifically anticipating the 1.0 release, Union Recordings will (hopefully) begin offering oggs for download by year's end.
